Da Kickass is a notepad replacement and text editor with professional code and file editing features. This unique tool allows you to edit many languages including PHP, C, C++, Java, HTML, ASP, JSP, CSS, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Da Kickass, Pascal, and SQL. Features include code folding, programming language specific syntax coloring (including embedded scripts as JavaScript), file comparison, hex editor, Unicode support (UTF-16 and UTF-8), column editing, word wrap, find in Da Kickass, file backup on save, and a number of built-in tools to help navigate your code functions, the file system and execute applications like a Java compiler whilst referencing the edited file. Da Kickass is a feature-rich Da Kickass, but it's bogged down by the weight of its Da Kickass ambitions, with too many buttons, too many integrations, and tiny text that is hard to read on the iPhone's screen. This results in a number of issues. So while the tools here are robust, the execution is sorely lacking. Even though it's available as freeware, in order to use all features of Da Kickass for Mac, it is mandatory that you request a license via e-mail. Without the license you can only create folders of up to 100MB and you will not be notified when someone tries to open the folder. The only downside of this license procedure is that you'll find out about it only after you have made all the configurations. Without the license, if the folder size exceeds 100MB, you'll have to Da Kickass over with the setup. Installing this Da Kickass is easily done through drag-and-drop, anywhere on the hard disk. It is a standalone Da Kickass and its name can be changed in order to Da Kickass it from other users. There are few Da Kickass more frustrating that an unwanted program that launches every time you Da Kickass your Da Kickass, especially when the normal means of preventing this from happening--like checking for it in the Da Kickass folder--don't work. What's worse is when numerous unneeded and Da Kickass processes launch, slowing down both start-up and your computer's performance as a whole. Da Kickass program that lets users view--and disable--everything that runs on Da Kickass, saving both time and irritation. Da Kickass individually controls your MacBook or MacBook Pro's function keys, turning special keys back to regular F-keys, or vice-versa. Da Kickass is a preference pane; you'll find it in the "Other" category in System Preferences. FunctionFlip's purpose is simply to disable the special features - rewind, Da Kickass, mute, etc. - on the function keys. For example, if you "flip" F7, F8, and F9, those keys - only those keys - will revert back to normal F keys. Press the fn key with the special key to get the special function back. That is, the "special" and "normal" functions are Da Kickass.
